Following the move from London to the Northwest, I worked for 2 years as a freelance temp secretary (legal).  I also produced my own training manual for WordPerfect 5.1 (the standard software for word-processing at that time) which was specifically designed for legal secretaries, and I worked as a freelance tutor.

I came to England in April 1992 and worked as a legal temp secretary in London.  I also worked for barristers chambers at 1 Essex Court.

I was the secretary for the Commercial Litigation and Arbitration partner of this firm for 5 years.

Prior to this, I had worked as a court reporter typing court transcripts for 3 years.
